My son is 30 months old - old enough to be toilet trained! He knows how to ask to go to the bathroom. He knows how to pull down his pants and sit on his potty. He even knows how to use the potty. The trouble is, he only does all this when he feels like it. Half the day he acts toilet trained and the other half he wets all his clothes. At night, he can sleep through and wake up dry. But then once a week he just soaks the bed. I don't know how to get him to be more consistent. If he knows how to do these things, why doesn't he just do them?
