Hi - as a parent with a child in daycare who was the receipant of an aggressive child, my suggestion is to not only report it to your director, but also the parents of child need to be made aware of the issue. From there, the child needs to be put into a smaller group of kids where a teacher can better monitor and keep the child in activiites. If it still doesn't change, the child needs to be removed from the daycare. It's not fair for the other kids to continiously be subjected to this behavior.. . . and the parents of the other kids, don't bring their kids to the daycare to have their kids be terriorized.
My child wasn't eating and acting out at home for about a week before I starting asking questions at daycare. While there, I saw a child chasing my son around, cornered him and hit him repeatly in the face. . . my son was 18 months. I was extremely upset that the daycare wasn't doing it's job in providing a safe environment for my child. NOW, I'm being told my kid (who's almost 2) isn't "agressive enough" and that's scaring me that maybe this minature bully has already affected my childs esteem.
