Our son is a brilliant young man. We always expected him to go to a professional school of some sort. His mother and I are both lawyers, his uncles and aunts are all in the professions. We assumed he would follow in our footsteps. However, it seems - despite his A+ average in his last year of high school - that he wants to be a film producer. He wants to go to community college - not university. We're very unhappy with his choice and have told him so. Is there anything more we can do to dissuade him. I'm of a mind to let him know that we will only pay for his schooling if he goes to a proper university and chooses a proper profession. Would that be wrong?
