My 10 year old daughter can never just cooperate- she always has to discuss everything, question me, debate and argue over every little thing I ask. I get so fed up and exhausted that I usually walk away without getting what I want from her.These days I even avoid asking her anything because I can't stand the inevitable struggle. She's been like this every since she was 4 years old so I guess its just her personality. My other kids aren't like this. I feel bad for both her and me because she can see how I just can't stand dealing with her and I know this can't be good for her. I feel terrible about it, but what can I do? I don't think she'll ever stop being like this.
