My 3 yr old just won't let go. She won't walk into school by herself - I have to carry her in. She won't stay at a playdate unless I'm there with her. She won't leave my side if we are visiting at a neighbor's house even tho the other kids are playing and I want to talk to the moms. I want her to be more independent but if I try to force her awaay from me she makes a big scene and clings on harder./ Can this be cured?
