| My son was like that too but he calmed down by the time he was six months. He is still more active than some babies I've met but I don't think about things like ADHD. How about just having an inborn tendency to be active, alert and very smart?

| ADHD can't be diagnosed until a child is a lot older - I think around 6 years old. Maybe your baby is just an active baby and by the time he is six he'll be more average or maybe he'll be active but not hyperactive. Are you worried about this because you have a husband or father or brother with ADHD? I know it runs in families.

| What does it matter? You're not going to give a baby ritalin! If he turns out to have ADHD you'll deal with it much later. Meanwhile, every baby is unique. Just love him and raise him the best you can. And try not to compare him to other babies - it's always stressful for us mothers to fall into that trap.
